What is Polki?

Polki refers to uncut diamonds set in gold. Instead of the many facets of a modern brilliant cut, Polki stones keep a flatter, natural form, which gives a warm, candle-like shine rather than sharp sparkle. The style traces back to royal Rajasthani and Mughal courts.
