Where in Surat Can I See Certified Solitaires Under a Loupe?

You can see certified solitaires under a loupe at Vaishnavi Jewels, 120, Rajhans Ornate - High Street Retail Mall, Parle Point, Surat. Every solitaire we sell has its own grading report from IGI, EGL or TGL, and its report number is laser-inscribed on the stone. At the counter, we show you the inscription under a 10x loupe, match it to the report, and help you check the number on the laboratory’s website before you pay.

Why should I see a solitaire under a loupe before buying?

A solitaire is usually the most important diamond purchase a family makes, often for an engagement or a milestone. A grading report describes the stone, but the report is only useful if you know it belongs to the diamond in front of you. The laser inscription is that link.

Seeing the stone under a loupe lets you:

  1. Read the tiny report number inscribed on the girdle (the thin outer edge of the diamond).
  2. Confirm it matches the number printed on the report.
  3. Look at the stone closely yourself, with the report’s clarity and cut details in hand.

What does the check look like at our showroom?

When you visit, we follow the same steps for every solitaire, whether it is natural or lab-grown:

  1. We show you the report. It states the carat weight, colour, clarity, cut, measurements and shape, and clearly states the origin of the diamond.
  2. We hand you a loupe. With a little guidance, most customers can find and read the girdle inscription within a minute.
  3. We match the numbers. You compare the inscription with the report number yourself.
  4. We check online together. You enter the number on the laboratory’s website and see its record.
  5. We note it on the invoice. The report number and stone details go on your bill.

Which solitaires can I see?

We have certified solitaires in natural diamond jewellery and in lab-grown diamond jewellery. Each one is shown with its own report, and each report states its origin clearly. You can also browse our solitaire rings, with settings in yellow, white and rose gold.

Because we make jewellery in our own manufacturing unit, you can choose a stone and then the setting, band width and gold karat, made to suit your budget. Custom pieces usually take 2 to 4 weeks depending on the design.

Can I still see the inscription once the stone is set?

Usually, yes. In most solitaire settings the girdle is visible between the prongs, so the inscription can be read under a loupe. With some bezel or very low settings, part of the girdle is covered, so it is best to check the inscription before the stone is set. We are happy to do this with you.

What else should I check before I pay?

  • The BIS HUID hallmark on the gold of the ring, which you can verify in the BIS Care app.
  • The invoice: it should list the report number, the stone details and the gold weight and purity.
  • After-care: ask about resizing (charged on actuals) and periodic prong checks.

What if I cannot visit Surat?

We offer video-call viewing, where we show you the stone, the report and the inscription on camera, and share the report number so you can check it online before paying. Payment is by NEFT or UPI, and we offer free insured delivery to major Indian cities. See delivery across India.

How long does a solitaire viewing take?

A relaxed visit usually takes under an hour. That leaves time to see a few stones with their reports, learn to read the inscription with the loupe, try settings on your hand and check one report online together. If you share your preferred shape, size and setting on WhatsApp beforehand, we can keep suitable stones ready, which makes the visit quicker. Families are welcome to come together.

Frequently asked questions

How do I verify an IGI diamond report online using the number on my diamond?

Read the report number laser-inscribed on the girdle under a loupe, enter it on the laboratory’s website, and check that the details match your report.

How do I know the stone I am buying is a diamond and not moissanite or a simulant?

Ask for the grading report, check that the laser-inscribed number on the stone matches the report under a loupe, and make sure the invoice names the stone. Some simple testers cannot tell moissanite from diamond, so the report and inscription are the reliable proof.

Which solitaire ring setting is best for daily wear?

A lower setting with sturdy prongs or a bezel catches less on clothes. Try several settings on your own hand before deciding.

Come and check a solitaire yourself at our Parle Point showroom, Monday to Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, visit our showroom, or WhatsApp +91 99980 43886 to book a time.
